So if the Spurs win the 'ship this year the same way they won game 1 and 3, will....

Will Danny Green win MVP? :dwillhuh: :lupe: :ohhh:

If he keeps playing like this, leading scoring and defending Bron part time... Will he win it?, or will they find a way to give it to Parker or Duncan, even though they haven't been playing great (except for that Parker last second shot)

You don't see the stark difference between games 1 and 3? :wtf: Duncan and Parker were the keys to game 1. Spurs won't win the series without Parker and Duncan playing better. Chalmers would be in line for MVP if every game was like game 2. Heat cant expect to win the series like that either.

I didn't say the 2 games were won the same way... I asked if they won the series the same way the won games 1 and 3. Danny Green didn't ball out in game 1 but he still played a solid game. 4-9 FG for 12 pts, 5 rebounds, 1 blk, 0 turnovers. And has to guard Lebron. Then game 3 he goes off. At this rate he will lead the team in ppg for the series and average 1.5 blks and 1 stl per game.

It's possible he might have the best looking stat line (as far as MVP talks since Duncan will average a double-double). They love to make the team's leading scorer the Finals MVP, especially if he has to guard a player like Lebron and does well.

20.0 ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.0spg, 1.3bpg
63.3 FG%, 69.5 3P%

Talk about efficient :whew:
Not bad :ehh:

I say if he can rebound better, and score and defend the same, he should be considered.

Duncan beasted game 3 as well

No he didn't.... Except for maybe on rebounds and a couple of explosive plays.

He did have a solid game though. 5-11 for 12 points and 14 rebounds. I think he had a couple blocks too. He didn't beast by any means, but he played well. But usually those aren't the players that they give MVP to. But they might do it anyway if the consistent "spark" is somebody like Green instead of Parker

Green is MVP so far. But Spurs gotta win 2 more games.

I don't even know whose MVP for Miami so far. Maybe Mike Miller? :yeshrug:

Superstars have not come to play so far this finals.

If they win I hope the MVP is as ambiguous as possible. I'm so sick of hearing talking heads praising how well the Spurs play as a team, then adding a "but" and saying they're picking the Heat "because they have the best player."

Yes i watched the game...but lets be real. The MVP is usually decided by stats. And regardless, what i said is still the truth.Duncan didn't best. He just had a good game. He didn't have a standout performance. That's what i would call beasting. And how many more minutes did Green really play more than Duncan. I don't think it was that much.t
