So I'm giving PC gaming another honest go: Whats the best CURRENT RTS that i should be playing?

Ive gone back and played Rise of Nations which aged extremely well and Age of Mythology is great too

i already own Starcraft 2 and am going to play that some more, but deep down i prefer empire building(AOE1 was my first)

i hated AOE3 tho

so are there new games on the horizon? i also own shogun total war 2 but it isnt very gratifying for some reason after the first few battles i may try it again but i havent considered it

i feel like on Steam theres alot of good games that dont get play due to marketing so let me know

Tried Company of Heroes? How about World in Conflict? RTS fans eat well on the PC. so much good shyt out there.

WIC is pretty good. Did you ever play Endwar on the consoles? It's better on the PC obviously.

That LOTR strategy game was supposed to be very good, but I never tried it.

Playing God/Creator has been the shyt since the Sims, people like being God, this much has been shown via sales alone.

Building empires / cities and going to war against other empires ,expanding your empire....im a history buff so I like stuff like that.


I'm playing Total War Attilla right now. Its pretty decent.
