Any "job" will be like this. Unless you start your own subtractive business you are pretty much doomed to this cycle. Fukk a job all together

Man, that's true. but this job is different. This place is the definition of corporate slavery where all you are is a number. :sadcam:

Use HTMLCounter.com to do some research on potential companies you're looking into. You'll be able to get an idea of what the pay is, and they even have interview questions and reviews from people who have worked at various companies.

Use LinkedIn for networking. CareerBuilder and Monster is usually filled with people looking for contract type work from my experience.

Hmmm, never heard of htmlcounter but I do check glassdoor. They have pretty good information just like what you mentioned.

I've never had success with careerbuilder. Indeed and Monster gave me a few hites. And sometimes craigslist but most of those jobs are just petty jobs.

I'm not sure why it came up as htmlcounter, I just put in www. glassdor.com and that's what came up.

You in Cali right ? See if you can get a gig at a digital marketing agency and work your up.

I was going to suggest creating your own startup but I don't know what your skillset is...so writing code, building interfaces and raising venture capital might not be your thang...

Glassdoor is a great site. These cocksuckers are always asking you what your anticipated salary is or your bare minimum. Companies can and will hold that against you if you fumble that question. NEVER leave it blank. If you go too low, they will be like :scusthov: look at this welfare recipient. If you go too high, they go :stopitslime: This is a job, not the lotto nikka. Give a nice range and roll with it.

Yeah, I'm in LA. I use to work for a marketing firm a few years back. Do you have any examples of these digital marketing agencies?
