Need more room in my car and saw a 2010 Audi at a dealership in great neck New York today. Was going for $10,000 roughly and had maybe 65,000 miles. Anyone on here drive them? How well do they hold up? They last a long time? I've always driven Japanese so I'm not really familiar with them.

Audi's are tough to maintain, especially one that old and mileage..but out of the most models..A3 and A4 are more reliable for Audis

What usually starts to go on them and how much does it cost to fix? My mother's cousin is a mechanic and my girl's dad is good with cars and his friend is a mechanic too so I have people who can help if labor is generally an issue. My current car is a 2001 Celica with just over 171,000 miles so I'm at the point where I need to have the next car in mind and be ready within a year or two. It has the same engine as my dad's last car which gave out at 225,000 miles. Think this one is worth looking into or is it better to save up for something down the road? My friend just managed to get a 2013 Mercedes c class with 30,000 miles for $18,500. Know much about them?

from what I have heard and read..a lot of electrical issues with audi, I would just save money to get a newer version of audi or another car. Most luxury cars have these same issues, idk about Mercedes but 2013>2010

I've had my eye on one of those if it's at a good deal like my friend got or either an Avalon or a Maxima. Once they're about a year or two old, the price drops by nearly half so anything from 2013-today is gonna be at least $15-20,000 less. Anything you know that I should be looking out for with these cars? My current car is the only one I've owned and I haven't had any problems for the ten years I've had it. Just routine maintenance with the tires, brakes, alignment, oil changes, and one fan belt change. Unfortunately they don't make it anymore.

Just check carfax to see if these car got no issues, + I would advise taking your own guy to check the car when buying. I think that is a good range to buy it in but again even with the newest version of these cars you might experience computer/electrical issues from these cars:yeshrug:.
