yeah it's tough I drink everynight and just stay out at the library trying to get a IT cert. pretty much it, I feel it and I feel bad cuz these hoes got kids and look at me like when I say I do. Nothng wrong with not having kids but at least have money, if not you just look bad, I just feel like shyt all day, confidence is pretty much shot to hell. Trying to get it back.

fukk all that library shyt man,, you need some cbtnuggets, Pluralsight IT certification videos and follow along with the instructor , man I have successful set up a VPN and domain controller with clients using VM and real hardware on my first and second try, that shyt was fun, sometimes you get tired of reading and those videos help out a lot.

certification really don't mean nothing if you don't have t hands on experience.

I had a terrible speech impediment and I had trouble speaking to people so I worked jobs where I didn't have to speak much. low paying jobs. I also had most friends in my situation so we didn't really see the outside world.

wasn't till everyone went their own way I seen how shyt changed.

I speak very well now but at 35 I had trouble speaking greatly.

really hard situation cuz on one hand you can say I'm a bum nikka on the other hand I had disabilities get in the way of shyt for instance I couldn't join the military due to the health.

@Cuzo I make a pretty decent living. my job pays enough to pay all my bills and save a little. but I work at home.

I work postmates like once a week and make between $100-$200 that day delivering food and goods. I never put more than 50mi on my car that entire day, so the mileage ain't bad. but that's gonna make me around $500-$600 extra a month just doing a job any idiot could do

I'm also making a little income off my old house that we got my wife's cousin living in.

I saw something on here similarly about a year ago and it had a great suggestion. I'll paraphrase:

If you are thinking of killing yourself, you might as well just run yourself into the ground hustling toward a "goal"..if it's your body, just run yourself into the ground at the gym for hours and hours...run until you can only walk and then walk until you can only crawl... "kill yourself" to get the best body and you'll see results

Likewise with money, apply for a second/third job...flip burgers, work a night gig...get rid of all distractions and just work yourself to either death or some extra money.

It beats just "giving up"

Here's a plan, enroll in community college and take the prereqs to go to pharmacy school and ace that shyt. The prereqs only take about two years to complete from what I heard and you don't need a degree to get accepted. Just study your ass off. I lnow a single mom that went this route in her mid 30s and is making 150K now as a pharmacist.


Work out, work out, work out. Get a perfect body.

I don't know if that plan will help you but it can't hurt.

My brother have a speech impediment and he's over 350 pounds. He makes over 250K because he owns his own truck and trailer. Don't let anything limit you if you want to make a decent living.

I started training and taking a martial art within the past year. I look around and see 10 year olds in my class as my seniors.

Find something you like. Or try something completely knew and in ten years at 50 you'll be great at it.

Alot of men going through what you're going through(with kids). Take it one day at a time, it's not that bad for you breh. You have opportunities with nothing holding you back.

At our age 35+. I wouldn't advise schools. Why get student loans at 40+. Either the free online classes, or self employment.

Find trade unions and apply to all of them

Community college should be free for you or close to it, pick a skill or job training program and find ways to get your books for dirt cheap or get cool with a classmate and use theirs

A lot of places, states and cities, have programs and grants that will pay for you to get cdl licenses or whatever. You just have to put in the work to look for them. Also decent paying city jobs open up here and their for local residents but like most jobs that are worth having they go fast, that's why networking and talking to a lot of people is a good thing

You just like someone who just got out the joint but without kids or a background. You're just at the point now where you can't fukk around and have to be on your business for the next couple of years or so and you can turn your situation around

Having a pity party for yourself will not help nor solve anything, no real reason to kick yourself in the ass now for mistakes made in the past. Just pick yourself up now and make shyt happen because no on is gonna make it happen for you
