This is real too. I'm 32 with a masters and honestly if I could do it over I probably would've went to a trade school/community college and learned a craft and built my own situation.

OP, have you ever had services with your local Vocational Rehabilitation office? Its a federal program for people with disabilities to fund work. Every state is required to offer these services. If you qualify, they can financially assist you with school, job training, and your job search even some of your medical bills. Its worth looking into.

@Cuzo I make a pretty decent living. my job pays enough to pay all my bills and save a little. but I work at home.

I work postmates like once a week and make between $100-$200 that day delivering food and goods. I never put more than 50mi on my car that entire day, so the mileage ain't bad. but that's gonna make me around $500-$600 extra a month just doing a job any idiot could do

I'm also making a little income off my old house that we got my wife's cousin living in.

I had a terrible speech impediment and I had trouble speaking to people so I worked jobs where I didn't have to speak much. low paying jobs. I also had most friends in my situation so we didn't really see the outside world.

wasn't till everyone went their own way I seen how shyt changed.

I speak very well now but at 35 I had trouble speaking greatly.

really hard situation cuz on one hand you can say I'm a bum nikka on the other hand I had disabilities get in the way of shyt for instance I couldn't join the military due to the health.

I feel you breh. I think you can definitely start some kind of business and eat well.

fukk all that library shyt man,, you need some cbtnuggets, Pluralsight IT certification videos and follow along with the instructor , man I have successful set up a VPN and domain controller with clients using VM and real hardware on my first and second try, that shyt was fun, sometimes you get tired of reading and those videos help out a lot.

certification really don't mean nothing if you don't have t hands on experience.

How are you using SQL? I have data sets and a full time job dealing with data. But I just can't seem to get around to actually using it in the practical sense. I mainly use Excel and not really MSFT Access. Just installing it on my home computer has been a bytch because I have Win 10 at home and you know how OS and compatibility goes when the latest OS comes out. I may try doing it at work but every time I look to get started a damn client e-mail come thru asking me to do something. I have a good job in a growing industry that's expanding fast, but I am afraid of becoming too complacent that's how you get unemployed and with no consulting opps either cause you ain't up to date with the latest
