Out of all the white fast rapping forced punchline rappers hes top 10 for sure
Clearly number 1.
Nas was like "Man I put Jay on blast for Em murdering him on his own shyt....Let me never EVER get on a track with Em because those words might come back to haunt me"
Canibus was like "Man he took my Buffulo Gals "Round The Outside" line and made it a hot song....And the Ether from Can I B*tch still stings"
Benzino was like "I fukked up the Source trying to battle Em"
DJ Quick was like "Man that Marshal Mathers LP was the best hip hop album of the 90's and 2000's"
Em is somewhere in my Top 20.
Cheesy with the pepperoni indeed
To have sold as much records as he has and have such a paltry level of influence says a lot
Nas, Cube, Pac, Big, Rakim, KRS, Raekwon, Ghost, Prodigy, Cam, Snoop, LL, Scarface, Jigga, Kane, Q-Tip etc...
I guess 20-25 maybe?
last decent effort was the eminem show and even that had my index finger really active
i would say 20 just because of impact and sales
Has been one of the worst in the game for the last 16 years
this...he should have retired after The Eminem Show
False NaS wanted that cracker on the Daughter's remix
He's maybe top 50 not counting sales
His discography doesn't hold up besides maybe 10 songs on his first 3 albums.
I never have any inclination to play any of his shyt....
#248 right below kangol kid
Go back and read that article...Only person he "talked to" was Jay Z...He "thought" about AZ and Em. But Em already put it out there he wasnt making songs about his daughter. It wasnt a situation of "Hey Em can u do this track?..Naa Nas I cant do it" He didnt reach out to Em for shyt.
if this was 2002 he’d make a case for top 25
today maybe top 50
hard to excuse him for ruining a 2pac album
and dropping back to back ics
