But with these laws could you? Don't both parents have to sign (if the father is known). If he sues or is known I guess he can refuse to sign over his rights.

I have no idea, but your right, a mother in this situation could get screwed on the laws by trying to protect their child. I agree, I think they should too. You violate someone in such a vile manner, you don't deserve certain rights.

I'm assuming this law is in cases when the rapist is like a 21 yr old that knocked up a "consenting" 16 yr old or something, by law he is still seen as a rapist and is labeled as such


I couldn't imagine a person who forcefully rapes and impregnated a female wanting rights but we live in a crazy world
