this is the guy that got NZBRUS and NZBMartix taken down. he undermined them by cutting off their funding through Paypal and eventually they couldn't generate enough revenue to keep themselves running.

basically anything widely used enough to be useful and convenient also becomes a target and ultimately destroys itself from its own exposure.

everything has been folding up lately. sure internet downloading will keep on going but is it moves more and more underground you'll probably be hard pressed to find content that's out of the mainstream stuff. eventually everything is gonna be small scale private sites and the copyright police will likely just pay off members of those sites and gain access through invites and bust them up as well.

internet piracy had a good run but honestly i make enough to buy the shyt i want and its becoming easier to buy stuff than search it out online anyway.

old easily defeated ass nikka

I aint quiting until the internet quits until then.....

You are a Pirate Limewire 10 hours - YouTube
when 6 strikes goes into place then what? pay for a seedbox and ftps the shyt to my computer? basically your ISP is gonna start snitching on you and will turn your name over to whoever files a claim against your ip. shyt is gonna be like squashing bugs as people figure out ways around it the companies that exist solely for the purpose of detecting and destroying piracy methods will squash it.

part of downloading was easy of access. if i gotta pay the usenet provider and scavenge for files, if i gotta pay for a vpn and a seedbox i'm already losing interest. honestly we live in the age of DVRs and Netflix downloading movies and TV shows aren't worth the bandwidth count against my cap. at this point the only thing i download off the web is Anime. maybe an occasional album. Demoniod shutting down ended my Audiobook downloads so i'm gonna start looking at the library for those and maybe audible. i've amassed 300+ GBs of porn through the last decade. there's not much left i really download anyway.

People should never tell about their connects. I know a few sites that I keep for myself for the sake of both me and them (not saying I'm influent).

It's just that when a site becomes popular, it's obvious that it will be taken down. Every site will become popular at some point above all if other similar sites are taken down, but the slowest it does, the more we can feast off it, so that's why errbody should keep their goldmines to them and let the hungry find them by themselves... The game will be healthier this way.

this attitude defeats the purpose of piracy. the less people that know the less that add content and the less content you have access to. that's what the dark ages entails. everybody scattered and hording what they can trying to keep it hidden from everybody else so it never gets taken down.

what makes file sharing work is the actual sharing part.

My uncle pretty much told me the same thing like 10 years ago & I still run with that today. People still ask me where I get my stuff from & I just tell them somethin like Filestube. That's pretty much virus central.:shaq:

this sort of thing worked when the copyright holders were trying to stop people directly but now we got third party companies that exist for the sole purpose of sniffing out how people are downloading stuff and stopping it.

if you could find it and nobody paid you to do so what makes you believe a person that's getting paid to find it can't? beyond that what makes you think they can't offer a fellow pirate a job in one of these companies and put them on the payroll to sniff shyt out?

i'm still laughing at the whole private trackers are safe deal. honestly all you gotta do is Paypal somebody the right amount and you can get an invite. once you're in you can either monitor the swarms or bust up the site itself.

This is the same shyt people said a few years ago with the FBI shutting down all the music sites... The same thing people said earlier this year when MegaUpload and similar sites got shut down. This is the same thing people said when SOPA and PIPA popped offed...

Look around... ain't shyt changed but the domain name.

The year 3030
Personally, I'm just getting tired/bored of it all. I guess it was too much of a good thing, haha.

No homo, but piracy shyt don't excite me no more. I used to stay getting anything and everything, anticipating shyt...but now and days, I hardly look for anything, unless its a request or stuff I've been watching/using for years.

Piracy isn't going anywhere. That's like saying they'll shut the internet down. There's billions of websites. Piracy is gonna be around just like prostitution, drugs, and taxes.

I got what you mean but I'm not sure it's necessarely bad. People that add content are already aware of the underworld. Do you really think that somebody ripping the last movie or the last album isn't already in the game and doesn't already know sites where to upload his files to ?

Most people (I'm talking about the average person) that come to those sites aren't uploaders, they just here to download. On private trackers, they seed because they have to just to keep their ratio up, but if they weren't forced, most of them will avoid seeding.

Dark ages aren't necessary bad for piracy. My opinion is that it should stays in the shadows, I mean, ethically speaking... I'd be mad if I were an artist seeing all my work in the light like that :ld:
