It's not all Bennett's fault, but the writing's on the wall with him. He's not gonna start here (that's Dieng's fault) and he has confidence issues (his fault). That said, Flip's using him like he's Dante Cunningham offensively. He needs to be spoon fed the ball to get better looks because he's under utilized here.

Even if he did well, he was gonna be replaced. Bjelica and Dubljevic are on the way and they may draft another big and he makes too much money to pick up his option.

Side note: the love affair with Hummel is unhealthy to the point where they confuse playing hard with being good.

When is the option up for Bennett? This year or next?

I ask because that will most likely signal the end of his NBA career.

His option got picked up for next year. The 4th year won't get picked up unless he wakes up (probably wouldn't anyway)
