It's useless to have a huge flood of exposal of sexual harassment when the 'vehicle responsible for the prosecution of criminals' has and maintains a mentality where women are less then men, specifically powerful and rich men.
It's white men protecting mainly white powerful men.
So, to them 'well the guy already quit his job.. I mean.. that's punishment enough'. It doesn't even cross their mind that perhaps this person should be prosecuted.
The justice department comes down harder on an 18-year old with a bag of weed, than on a man who according to several women's accounts has raped.
This is America. This is the western world.
That flood of accusations, even when some are false (which is horrific, but people are vengeful) and not ONE man has been prosecuted or even charged... you know what time it is.

The headlines are about wealthy powerful men. If victim didn't report it right away and take rape kit/dna etc THEN, chances are that none of these guys will have charges brought on them.
Weinstein made charges and investigation disappear back when somebody file report him back in the day. Quick phone call, quick donation......what charges? what investigation?

A statement is only enough to bring charges. To prosecute sexual assault actually takes overwhelming evidence.
