He’s been doing it since 2021, the old dog he started it with passed away last year, got coverage all over the sports outlets about it and now he has another dog on the sets and in the booths.

Supposedly he travels with it to “combat the loneliness of being on the road”…but he’s the one who packs the schedule with CFB and NFL.

But is it really a strategic gimmick to help get sympathy from people because he felt bullied by fans for years?
:jbhmm:

Guy lives a great work life:
- treated like a king in CFB with GameDay and calls the biggest games on ABC
- has his own bus at GameDay to chill and watch games after the show
- got a gig doing TNF that he arguably wasn’t even qualified for and it shows when talking NFL players in those games
- travels private all over the place

Enough :camby:

I said it when 'Ben' died, it was pretty clear it, and others, were low key emotional support dogs for Kirk. They do or he doesn't say so, but its obvious. And i'm not even making fun of him when I say that...if it helps him and its not bothering his coworkers (and really...he's probably not on a commercial plane sitting in 22B with a big ass dog like some of these unhinged mf), all good to me.

Heard this shyt live last night and was disgusted. :camby:

So many more qualified analysts that deserve this Primetime gig over him. Hope Amazon finally moves on from him and Al Michaels after this season. Give Solomon Wilcots this analyst spot.

This ain't even the worst one. After the game-tying TD, he called Kyler Murray, the former #1 overall pick, Aaron Murray, a cac drafted in the 5th round 11 years ago that never even took a live snap in the league :mjpls:

 you misinterpreted me old friend.

The emotional support is the "safety" the dogs provide as DRUG SNIFFING DOGS, to snitch on the black celebrity guest pickers

I don't know about that, but as far as college goes, Kirk is absolutely the best analyst color guy. Maybe Joel Klatt or Louis Riddikk is behind him.

This clip in question is funny tho bc Baker and Kyler obviously played for OU in consecutive seasons.

Kirk likely just took that NFL role for a phat check.

But we cfb fans know where his heart lies.
