Cars are expensive these days and dont even have the reliability to match.:scust: I'm thinking I switch back to Lexus in a couple years so I can get 300k miles with little to no maintenance.

Not sure how reliable the new Lexus models are. I know their new v6 turbos were blowing up, but that could be due to manufacturing debris

Quality has fallen off with all cars, with the move to CVT Toyotas reliability has dropped a bit too
e-cvt doesn't have anything to do with cvt tho, except that it's got an infinite number of gear ratios. the damn things are near unkillable, i've heard of examples being shuttered around different hosts and lasting over a million miles.

imho toyota e-cvt > toyota > honda/jatco/etc. >>> nissan's jatcos

and they're engineering porn too :ahh:

I was Japan would drop the stupid CVT thing. I used to be only a Nissan problem

It's clearly a bad design concept and it really hurts their brand

Yes, best value easily.

Side note: I had a Nissan for 15 years I bought for $10k back in 2006. That was some incredible value. No major repairs. No bullshyt, I think most money I ever paid at once was for some new tires and some smog check repairs towards the end.

Let know when bmw last 250k. I know their new b58 is good, which is why toyota used it, but still.
