He wants to run the hemisphere. Venezuela is the biggest dog to check. Which is kinda sad when you really think about it. Most countries would get down without the nonsense.

Not that I agree, but everything this dude wants to do can be done in less chaotic ways. Him and his administration are fukking idiots.
These guys believe in the Dugin ( Russian political scientist) idea of a new world order and what he wrote in a book called Foundation of Geopolitics back in the 90s.. Everything they are doing is pointing to this and it’s essentially what you said.

They imagine three spheres where America is in charge of North America and South America (most importantly to Russia, out of Europe), China maintains the east, and Russia controls Europe and the Middle East and Africa as a whole is its own domain.

This is why these people are shyt taking nato and then threatening to invade places like Greenland , Canada, and Venezuela. They imagine some great American empire in our part of the world. If countries aren’t directly ruled by us, they are essentially vassal states.

Maduro is no saint but the way Trump is going with this is going to end uo with Maduro's "sins being forgiven" and unifying the Latin American Left. The lady from the Venezuelan opposition winning the Nobel Peace Prize out of nowhere is setting the regime change stage lol. A Women fighting for the people will have the feminist confused too
I’m by no means an expert in SA affairs but I know Maduro’s destabilization has lead to refugee influxes into neighboring countries so I’m not sure they would stick up for Maduro without the assurances of an actual election free of him.

I just don’t see him surviving three more years of this but who knows. Fidel survived to old age.

Venezuela has like the biggest human exodus right now, their folks are all over the Americas so there is def people not rocking with Maduro the issue is when you bogard folks. Brazil and Colombia (which historically is a number ally on that continent) tend to look the other way with Maduro since they are "left wing" led currently. Colombia might shift right again though but the South American Left will look the other way and just use the Venezuela situation to push anti American campaigns.

How does him safely sitting at his desk giving orders to men who will actually do the dirty work and put there lives on the line to go to war require any sort of bravery on his part?
Because he’s afraid of losing. He doesn’t care about the soldiers but for some reason if things go badly it will reflect badly on him. Same reason he made a deal with the Taliban to take over Afghanistan but didn’t evacuate US troops.

Fair enough. That's also very in character

Ironically, most Venezuelans have work permits thanks to Biden, so they make up just a small % of undocumented immigrants. The goal is to remove Maduro and install a Western aligned leader.

Yup. I went down a rabbit hole when Putin invaded Ukraine 3+ years ago and ran across Dugin.

US has the Americas
Russia has Europe
China has Asia

And although, they are not friends and will occasionally clash, they will use each other to solidify their spheres of influence. We're not going to war with China in 2027. The US is going to pull back from the world stage in so far as the trade and raw materials it needs to continue to progress.

This is the number 1 reason I supported the war in Ukraine, because it's not going to stop there. And the really scary thing is, the other countries in the crosshairs are going to develop nuclear weapons as a deterrent.

It's unfortunately also mimicking 1984; Eurasia, East Asia, and Oceania. The fukked up thing is, although 1984 is my favorite book; the premise is completely absurd and supposed to be an allegorical cautionary tale... however, it's the almost the exact model Dugin and Yarvin are using in their writing. 1 party, monarchal rule, with unclear enemies that constantly change, as well as the overall narrative.

I never in my life thought this type of system could ever be implemented, and yet project 2025 is 50% complete. And a good portion of this country; the only country who really could've turned the tide on this; is collapsing into totalitarianism.

None of this stuff happening is a coincidence. The only saving grace we have is, our authoritarians are some of the dumbest mothafukkas in the history of this country.
