Here's the thing dude.. there's nothing to pick up.. if wages would have increased in lock step with the cost of living then this would be a non issue.. teachers, firemen, police officers wouldn't be stuck at 60k so there would be nothing to complain about... it becomes a problem when you gotta work 60 hour weeks in a first world country just to keep a roof over your had an food on the table..

I just told you that everyone got fukked, but you're more worried about them getting closer to your pockets.. see my earlier post about narcissism.. it's all misdirected anger breh.. you're angry at the wrong set of people for the wrong reasons..

Some of you probably think that everyone getting a college degree would solve this problem.. seriously.. how do you think that would play out?

Im actually against college, everyone should be an entrepreneur. Globalization is the new market, which is 24hours.

If you made $7.50 profit per hour 24x7x365. You would have $65,700 a year.

That's where the money is. I would aim for $10 because of service fees/shipping etc .

Learn a trade that can be done online. There is plenty.

Also because of the online and global business. You can live and work anywhere.

And of course stuff cost more in a 1st world nation. Its the people born into it, or never traveled overseas that cant grasp, that those fry cooks are actually doing fine at $10 an hour.

Everything already goes up 2-3% a year due to inflation and compounded interest is what banks and major companies leverage their money off.

Which is why bitcoin and shyt is needed also.

The wage increase to $15 could easily be done. The CEO and other top executives would just have to take a paycut. But they're too greedy.

Instead of making 6 million a year they would ONLY make 3 million a year to cover wage costs...

Fukk boy math. How do you think a few executives cutting they check in half will help support raising the minimum wage of 30,000 plus employees by upwards of $7 an hour. That's not how this works.

If reg workers are making 15, supervisors have to make more and so do managers. And truck drivers, and the janitor who mops.

What's gonna happen is people with only a secondary school diploma is gonna compete with people with liberal arts degrees for jobs at Burger King. How exciting.

This is a classic example why you can't become complacent, waiting for a handout HOPING your situation improves.
Greed, Selfishness, that's what happen to you when you worship that dollar.
These corporate heads ain't parting with they dollar and don't care if they got to increase the homeless and poverty rate to keep they pockets laced.
Some ppl better wake up out here

:heh:Been saying this for a while. People don't understand how underpaid EVERYONE is relative to how high productivity goes up every few
years. The good jobs been shrinking before the 80's, before the 70's, etc...and now the Young'ns are left with smaller pieces of the pie.

Worst part? Elites don't have to do anything. Just let the "Middle class" fight to hold down the poor simply because they feel like they are losing.
Automation was happening ANYWAY, but we gotta push in a direction so the harsh realities can be addressed. The future of Americans were
mortgaged in favor of cost cutting, whether through automation or paying someone overseas 1/3 the wage without all the regulatory shyt to
go with it.

These companies were gonna do this anyway regardless of what the minimum wage is.
They don't want to hear this, though. Inflation wasn't stopping because people were getting paid $8 and some change to flip burgers. It would have eventually
been the reality ANYWAY.

This makes to much sense if you're concerned about the general welfare of society..... but do you really think billion dollar banks/energy companies are about to lose money to help the betterment of America socially and economically?

It's better than forcing business owners to pay a 15 minimum wage. If the cost of living was reduced across the board when it comes to societys basic necessities, both sides would be satisfied.

The higher ups have to take a paycut to ensure the safety of these jobs. That's what some airline execs in Japan are doing.

I don't disagree at all... Like I said, that makes sense, but its not happening cause corporations aren't in the business of taking losses are leaving money on the table

Until airlines and vehicles go automated. Truck companies already doing this. Planes already fly by computer.

Eventually its gonna be no pilots, maybe 1 per plane is shyt goes awry.

That's why you have to find something to do, that cant be recreated artificially. In these times, its basically man vs computer / robot. Im a bit older 37 next week. My son and stepson are 15, and my other son is 10. Trust im tryna explain this shyt, these lil retail jobs aint gonna be here. Gotta think global, or niche local (lil spots/events that cant be replicated).

FFA banned the delivery drones
No they haven't. Still in test...

FAA approves Amazon drone research again
FAA approves Amazon drone research again
Bart Jansen, USA TODAY6:34 p.m. EDT April 9, 2015

Amazon won federal approval again to fly drones in research for potential deliveries after its initial approval in March took so long that its remote-controlled aircraft became obsolete.

The FAA announced Thursday that Amazon was one of 30 exemptions the agency granted a day earlier for commercial drones, bringing the total to 128.

The approvals are exemptions to a general prohibition on commercial drones until the FAA develops comprehensive drone regulations. Other companies approved planned to make movies or conduct aerial surveys or monitor agriculture.

"We're pleased the FAA has granted our petition for this stage of R&D experimentation, and we look forward to working with the agency for permission to deliver Prime Air service to customers in the United States safely and soon," said Paul Misener, Amazon vice president for global public policy.

To conduct research for a proposed drone-delivery program, Amazon will be able to fly up to 400 feet high at up to 100 miles an hour over private property and within sight of the remote-control pilot or a designated observer. The flights are supposed to remain at least 500 feet away from other people.

Anyone not bringing up Folks trying to live off a Fast Food gig and only focusing on the pay is an idiot. The issue is lack of job industry for non white collar workers. These low end jobs were not designed to support a family. You have people going to college/trade school to make 18-20 bucks why does an unskilled worker deserve 15 bucks? That now degrades even more the incentive to go to school or pick up a trade. And dont even mention how many of these workers aren't even good at doing unskilled work which makes universal pay increase comical when the avg person can think of numerous times these people screw up (minus Chick Fil A :blessed:)
