Girl A can't go on the date because almost two years ago the homie went to dinner with girl B who told him she wasn't interested in him like that. She moved on, he moved on. Everything is fine.

Apparently, if Girl B was to find out that him and Girl A went on this double date it's a violation of the Girl Code of Pettiness by Girl A and Girl C(my date)
Now here I am, 4 tickets to a show, a homeboy who wants to go with her, a girl who wants to go with him, but the girl isn't allowed to go "with him" because of a shared appetizer platter two years ago.

My homeboy took the news like an adult and just asked can he bring another girl which I don't mind but Girl B already has one of the tickets and my girl can't un-invite her and ask for it back because that makes her look petty and if I do it I become some Ike Turner ass controlling nikka to all of her friends once the gossip starts. So now my plans are being thwarted by a appetizer from two years ago and a girl I never met.

Why and how do you ladies create and navigate these political minefields? Someone please explain this nonsense to a logical person please.
