So let me get this straight...Houston is on the coast but ain't got no beach ?

I had a layover there recently and that's when it dawned on me that H-town is on the water...

So I'm looking out the window, looking forward to seeing the beautiful sandy beachfront and it never came..

the city was quite ugly overall from a bird's eye view. Maybe I'll try it again in the Summer time

It's apparently a 35 hour drive.

I mean...when I heard it was on the Gulf I thought it would have beaches...Florida gulf coast full beaches. It looks beautiful from the air...
