When the Wizards gave him $130 million in the offseason, the consensus amongst fans was that he got overpaid. He's a guy who couldn't stay healthy and even when he was on the court, his production still didn't warrant that type of payday. To open up this season he struggled out of the gate and then predictably got hurt, but since returning from injury he's looking like a brand new Beal
Since November 17th, he's averaging 26 PPG shooting 50% from the field and 45% from 3. The Wizards have gone 10-6 in that stretch and are now only 1 GB from being in playoff position, after losing 8 of their first 10 games.
So with him playing the best basketball of his career for the last month, is Beal finally starting to live up to what some thought he could be or is this just an unsustainable stretch and he'll return to being the Beal we've become accustomed to?
