Louisville didn't make any profit off the shirt & Adidas stopped selling the shirt after backlash. So what's the point of this thread again?

Aside from the fact that Lousiville and Addidas WERE going to keep selling it...and ware wouldnt have gotten paid...

You can't see how Louisville and Addidas would have financially profited from this? :mjpls:

49ers..Braves..Celtics
See I agree that players should be paid but because of women's athletics there is no feasible way to do it. By law any university has to offer the same sports opportunities to women and if the men are paid so too will the women.. It's a cost that universities are not going near. I go to a university where women's sports is actual popular and they still don't come close to generating the type of revenue that the men do.

Not to mention lawsuits from the parents of other college students because they'll feel that the schools are treating scholars and scholar-athletes unequally.

I think college athletes should be paid, but I've yet to hear a feasible plan that wouldn't astronomically drive up costs for the universities (and thus, tuitions). Unless schools agree to offer recruits a choice between a salary or a scholarship. Or we just abolish college sports altogether, which nobody wants.

So you're complaining about America being fascinated over an injury? The casual fan won't remember one name from this college basketball tournament other than Kevin Ware.

I see how Louisville gains profit from name alone & the contributions of Adidas donating money to their school.

You're mad at the wrong people; your anger should be directed at the NCAA instead of a business capitalizing & a school that didn't do shyt
