I remember a cat sayin' on SOHH way back, that none of these kids cared about Nas until he had issues with Jay. Their hatred for Jay made them love Nas. If you were a SOHH vet back then, you remember Nas used to get shytted on daily in there.

He became this champion for so many kids who wanted to go against what they saw Jay standing for. They resent that, and they assume Nas does, so they've pledged allegiance to Nas. It's corny. The stans don't realize that Nas himself said a couple years ago, that Hov can't be stopped and that him takin' over was inevitable. I fukk with the true Nas fans, the ones from way back. Not these new ones.

I think the verse is amazing, but everything else you said is the triple truth ruth

For a rapper who isn't "relevant" or is "washed up" whenever he drops a verse or a snippet the computers be puttin brehs. Just face it, Nas doesn't need long winded self glorifying commercials with wack ass cell phone companies (jobs gang you fakkits!) to make a buzz for himself. He just drops verses that make these other rappers go back to the drawing board. Nas is the best. Period.
