But I guess if players are complaining about having to play on short rest for a Thursday game once a year, how is this any different?Thanksgiving is the marquee game day of every NFL season. NFL players look at playing on Thanksgiving as an honor

I think the bigger issue with the Thursday night games throughout the year is the oversaturation of NFL during the week, from the players perspective its preparation & health. Even though having games throughout the season on Thursday brings more money for the NFL, I think it was better when they started playing games on Thursday nights and Saturday nights once Thanksgiving hit and it was the last quarter of the season.Thanksgiving games don't include every team in the league. Thanksgiving is also much later in the year than random teams playing random Thursday night games all throughout the season.![]()

With that logic NBA teams should complain about playing on ChristmasThanksgiving is the marquee game day of every NFL season. NFL players look at playing on Thanksgiving as an honor
