i ain't tryna walk around w/ a 10 inch tablet, them 7" is perfect size. I'm just surprised nobody is talking about it when its getting nearly as much praise as the nexus 7 and the full size is getting deeply compared to the ipad 3.

like dude said, its Great for reading and watching movies/TV. looks beautiful on that thing. and the sound is better then most beats laptops. no lie. they spaced the speakers properly where you can get a legit stereo sound going. but with that said, if you're not an amazon prime user. and you want to use a ton of aps, watch youtube, watch/listen to things that use flash. dont buy the kindle fire hd. go get the galaxy 2, 7 inch.

its smaller in size(not in viewable space) so it fits in your hand. it has a great screen, it only comes with 8 gb for 249. but it has a SD card slot unlike either the kindle or the nexus 7. so you can boost that memory up til whatever you like. the one reason for getting a nexus is if you just need that newest latest android operating system.

My girl got one, she loved everything about it except web browsing. I was mad she spent her money on it and was only on pintrest:ld:

then I ran into this on a video

Over 200,000 free android apps direct downloads


installed this from her kindle browser, now she riding with dolphin and many other android aps she couldnt use before and now she eating and is excited.

Amazon’s strategy with its Kindle e-readers and tablets has always been pretty clear: bring in more customers, even at a loss, so long as they partake of the online retailer’s panoply of services, from e-books to streaming movies. Unlike rival Apple, which sells its devices at a premium, Amazon has seemed more or less happy to break even or lose money on its devices. Now, a report based on research by Consumer Intelligent Research Partners (CIRP) shows how shrewd that strategy may be.

CIRP surveyed 300 U.S.-based Amazon customers over a period of three months this fall. Based on the results, the firm estimates that Kindle owners spend about $1,233 per year on the site, compared with $790 for Amazon members who do not own one. In other words, Amazon members with Kindles spend $443 more annually.

That's basically Google's strategy with Android & Chrome OS. If you own an Android device or Chromebook, you're probably all-in on Google 1st-party apps, services & products.

Yep, if you're getting a Kindle or Nook tablet, make sure you get 1 that is supported by CyanogenMod.
