I don't think Pelosi and Schumer care for the likes of AOC at all.

Someone like her represents a more progressive wing of the party going further left.

I understand both sides. AOC is looking out for immigrants and people who look like her while Schumer and Pelosi are trying to retain votes.

There are people out there that are never going to be cool with issues like amestying immigrants, gay marriage, abortion, legalization of marijuana, and issues of that such. AOC represents all that plus a lot of other progressive shyt that's coming down the pipeline in the future that moderate Democrats are probably never going to be feeling.

Certain people might scoff at that, but you need those moderate votes to win House and Senate seats as well as in presidential elections, so you cannot completely alienate those people.
