For the past few years, Lakers fans were unfairly criticized for bashing Pau and his lack of effort. We would acknowledge how he was an effective player offensively(at times) but his defense was whatever he gave on offense + more. But of course the coli thought we were being illogical and hating but it feels good to be proven right.

1) But Pau plays well when he's utilized by his coach properly.

- the same Pau that retired Phil Jackson and got his chest caved in and played so horrid, there were accusations that Shannon Brown fukked his bytch.

- Mike Brown comes in and the excuse is well, Pau wasn't put into a position to succeed because Mike Brown favored Bynum and let Bynum handle the post.

- Mike D'Antoni comes in and the excuse is, well Pau isn't suited to play on the perimeter, he's a post player. Mike D'Antoni adjusts and puts Pau in positions to succeed and yet anyone could see he still was being bullied in the post.

- Tom Thibodeau has Pau playing like an all star offensively and now he's falling off, it's bu bu but Thibs needs to play Pau less.

2) But Pau is a great defender

If blocks means he's a great defender then steals must have meant A.I was an elite defender. :troll:

His defensive fg% at the rim is 48.8% which is worse than Luis Scola. He's ranked 30th among big man who play regular minutes.

Coach Nick breaks it down and holy shyt, HE'S AWFUL.

So can anyone explain to me how the Bulls removed supposedly the worst defender in the league(Boozer) and don't get me wrong, Boozer is BAD. But how are they worse defensively?

It's because they moved Joakim(the DPOY) to PF and put Pau at C. Everyone knows the C is the last line of defense and Pau is too slow footed and uses all arms on defense.

Let's have a healthy discussion. None of that BS LWO is this and LWO is that.

He's been a massive upgrade but despite Jimmy Butler's emergence, Rose being back and Boozer being gone, somehow the Bulls are worse defensively. :mjpls:

Place championship aspirations in a career loser brehs. 0-16 in the playoffs without Kobe bu bu but he's such a big upgrade. Yea he's a big upgrade to the opponents offense.

Can't wait till Thibs toys with him and he has his yearly crybaby antics.

We all knew Gasol wasnt great defensively entering the season. He's averaging 19/11 this season on 48% from the field and 82% from the line. Get off him

Does it matter what he averages when PGs and bigs runs a train on him every game?

Actually it really has.

With Pau, we're probably the 10th worst team in the league, PHX gets our pick. Without Pau, we're the 4th woat team and on our way to keeping our lottery pick. Bulls fans are aggy. Have a defensive coach and a horrendous defensive C brehs. That should work well :troll:

They did the same thing to Boozer last season, difference was that he had much fewer redeemable qualities than Gasol does at this point in time

Actually no.

Like I said, Bulls were great defensively because Jo was the last line of defense, he was great at pick and roll and rotating and he's a mobile C. He was the DPOY for a reason. Boozer was the PF so he was not contesting shots at the rim. He wasn't doing anything defensively really, he was garbage but there was less importance for him to excel defensively as opposed to how important it was for Jo to succeed defensively. Bulls have been great defensively with Boozer in the starting lineup for years. Watch the video I posted and see what I'm talking about.
