So Peter Gunz was in Posse Deep rapping in 1991 under the name Pete Lover?

Man I just put it all together.

They were from the Bronx, He was claiming 174th on the song and Prospect Ave... :jbhmm:

Then I heard him call his self Peter... :gladbron:

That's It...

Before Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz of Uptown Baby fame he was Pete Lover in Posse Deep!

The 'Candy' song was kind of wack but Side F/X was ill!

Good find, good engineer, mix and master for '91, especially for a group that was not established in any sense.

Crazy how between '91 to '93 how much the styles changed.

Tariq in '93 is on something completely different.

Don’t forget that prior Money Boss Players(One of my favourites), Lord Tariq and Peter Gunn were in a short lived group Gunnrunerz.

Dope, I had no idea, just looked them up, got that Hit Squad / E double / Redman sound to it, I guess that '92 for you though.

Money Boss didn't get the shine they should have, 'Walk with the limp' was something else.

“Walk with a limp”, Such a magnificent track. MBP represented what I liked about mid 90s Bronx rap, at a time that borough was outshined by Queens and Brooklyn.

Posse Deep was signed to a deal I believe. And may have been the same Posse Deep that beat up Q Tip over a Phife Dawg line.
