I'm about halfway thru it, it's actually closer to 800 pages. Really small text too if you get the print copy. It's written by the cac lady who founded Ozone Magazine, but she interviewed pretty much everyone even tangentially related to the story and had the full cooperation of Pimp's mom, who was a lot closer to Chad than I had thought. Not sure if she got to talk to Bun or not, but there's enough interviews of him out there that there's no shortage of quotes offering his perspective.
It's a very interesting read, and the attention to detail extends to contextual details. Right now I'm at the point where Pimp's about to go to jail, and the statistics and details given regarding the prison system and it's blatantly for-profit nature (especially in Texas at the time) are absolutely horrific.
