Well to be fair, the failure is on him.

He got one of the BIGGEST, if not THE BIGGEST pushes in RAW history, he got the world title within like 6 weeks of his RAW debut. He wasn't over or a top worker at this time, he was just an average performer. He then got high profile fueds from everyone to Cena to HHH and they ALL put him over with legit wins under his belt. He's won multiple world titles in his first few years, got high profile WM matches including winning the title in record time against Daniel Bryan and to all this and STILL not become a draw, something is wrong and he doesn't have any classic promos or matches to his name, on paper it looks like he wasn't worth the push he got.
What's funny is a number of tsc posters always like to come in and shout that Sheam da Gawd is a certified draw and ratings champ. Never figured out if it was just an ongoing work or what.

Who acts like Sheam was a huge draw or ratings gainer? :hulkmad:

He was a strong merch mover during his mega run with the World Title. And that was pretty much the case until he lost momentum with the injury.

Well I'm pretty sure you have the numbers instead of the various reports that came out during that time listing him as one of the best movers. Or how he was constantly getting new merch. Or how he was always featured on WWE Shop. Or how they added him to the K-Mart campaign.

I mean, typically if you notice the ones who shout his name are also Kliq fans. They (we all did) have been under the impression Sheam was Kliq'ed up, and considering the favoring booking he's received, the mega push and his overall chumminess and extended fued with Cena, HHH, Orton and everyone at top. SOMEBODY has to like him for a relative rookie to get the push he got. He isn't Kurt Angle or someone with an established athletic pedigree, he isn't a cross over star. I'm still boggled at how he's gotten such a hard push.

He current limbo right now is the least prominent run he's had and he's STILL US champ and booked strongly. Frankly, I think he's gotten a great deal considering what he actually offers.

He needs to complain to Kofi, Ziggler, Cesaro and Big E if he wants to talk about "excessive jobbing".

Sheamus RIGHT NOW is where he SHOULD be at the card given his level of talent and ability. He's not drawing like Cena and Orton, he's not putting on weekly classics like DBry or cutting consistently great promos like Punk did. All the guys I named are near or surpass his talent level and they all job more than Sheam. And he's still US Champ.
