So Sony got to release 3 consoles in one year to stay in the game?

I am a little confused about Sony management.

In one year we will get REAL NEXT GEN Xbox Scorpio.

Now Sony releases PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro.

PS4 Pro is a half baked console, which purpose I don't understand. Once Scorpio is released, PS4 Pro will turn into potato.

So Sony will have to release ANOTHER console to respond (PS5)? :lupe:

I am not saying its ova for Sony, but it might be the beginning of the end.

The demand for VR has been a bit underwhelming. I am only netting about $50 profit in one of these VR units. Will likely cancel my other 2 preorders.

I'll still put money on the ps4 pro selling more than the Scorpio. Microsoft can come out with the best console all they want it still isn't going to make a difference. Only way they can beat ps4 is providing exclusives. By the time Xbox gets to 40 million worldwide ps4 will have doubled that. Only way for Xbox to stand a chance is to kill the Xbox one brand altogether and start a fresh new generation and force developers to adapt.

XBOX One S - Just XBOX One with an upscaler?
PS4 Slim - Why not just make the PS4 Pro the "slim" version? Why two different SKUs?
Scorpio - Why make a console this powerful just to play the same games as all the other consoles?

In my universe Microsoft is a Top 3 most valuable company in the world with unlimited funds.

One wrong step by Sony and you gon play Last Of Us Remastered Re-remastered Bundle on PS4 Pro in 2020 talking about this was the last true console.

the gpu in the Pro is twice as powerful. that means it will generate more heat, and need more space for it's cooling solution
