Durant took a large pay cut to abandon ship to the team that beat him when he was up 3-1, after criticizing other players for joining super teams. Not remotely similar to someone going to a bigger job for bigger pay

He was a newspaper writer (Philly inquirer)
@ these simple minded ass rationales. Just say you condone the bytch made move and KIM rather than trying to compare working for a small market/local newspaper and upgrading your job...or ANY job for that matter to sports/basketball. It's not the same, it's not direct head to head competition in the same way, not even remotely.
Make basketball comparisons, if MJ had went to play for the Pistons in his prime after losing to them would anybody be calling him the GOAT? Answer that one, honestly and then find a new angle to try and make excuses for the Tin Man.

OP must be some kind of stupid to come up with such a false analogy
This makes the league more interestingYa'll gotta remember: This is entertainment. KD is free to work for whoever he wants. But for the sake of entertainment, for many the move A- makes the league less interesting and B- makes KD less interesting. Instead of being a superstar trying to carve his place in history or beat the other relevant superstars (Bron, Steph) who've already won, he decided to join up with the team we were excited to see him try to beat after that choke job. It simply makes the league less entertaining
