it was a failed business endeavor:yeshrug: it happens to successful business people

people donated/invested in it, most individuals that did donate made small contributions, nobody forced them too

He clearly said he lost money having @śïñe•qúå_nøn people working on it.

reason why some arent on his neck as much is because, his other endeavors like the hidden colors series, Haiti and even his iszm traveling panned out

I never heard of this project before but $83K was never going to be sufficient to build a social networking platform.

that amount could have been used to get a server and host a "moorus" Pod using The diaspora* Project

could have rallied a community of like minded devs to create the mobile app for the network since the code for the infrastructure is already there.

Finesse your flock out of 83Gs and then have your flock defend the finesse.

Gotta salute Tariq on that one. :salute:

Interesting that he did donations instead of the traditional startup method of fundraising thru VC :unimpressed:
There are a lot of black tech investors now like Nas, KD, and others
Did he approach anyone in Silicon Valley if his goal was a social media platform?
Donations require no due diligence and force no accountability, having the guidance of VC could have helped him since their money would be at stake and they have the resources to hold him accountable
