Half of the U.S.'s wild hog population is in Texas. They cause tens of millions of dollars worth of damage and are pretty dangerous. I wouldn't have used his method of 'containing' the hog problem, but as long as he has a permit and made sure to kill them completely (as opposed to just injure), he is probably a lot of Texas Farmers' hero.

I used to watch that Hog show on A&E, those wild pigs are ruthless and a financial drain on a lot of property in Texas.

I mean did he have to get the choppers out (don't ask me how) and do it that way? Probably not but the pigs die.
