I'm a new female poster, but I've been lurking since the there was a post on LSA about the Coli.

At first I didn't want to sign up because it seemed like there was constant shytting on women or calling them men. That slowed down when the women started posting pics, but in the back of my mind I knew that once those pics are out there, they're out there. You can guarantee people are saving them. It was only a matter of time before insults started. It doesn't matter how good or bad someone looks, they're still gonna hear their faults, or get insulted because a guy doesn't like the way they post.

Its up to the owners how they want to run things, but this is just the way people on the internet are. People always want to rate other people or have something to use against each other. I didn't even see the rating thread, just the complaints about it being deleted.

I don't care if people think I'm a man or ugly or anything else because I don't want to post my pic. This is the internet, and any crazy person can find it. I think the women who post face pics are brave, but I'll be keeping my anonymity.

I don't feel like posting in those other fukkry filled threads, because I see they've ballooned into something ridiculous.

But one thing I remember early on is the constant calls to improve upon the numbers of women participating in the forum. Doesn't matter too much to me, but the ownership responded to the loud crowd with an early shot stating dudes posting as women was not acceptable. Even used the ban hammer to make the point.

Then we got Morethan1 to start that thread, and as weird as he is, he's still doing well over the Mendoza line. Even already streamlined the pics in the 1st couple of posts of that thread.

So, then what really is the point of a split thread, when everything it was "intended for" was already done?

And another thing that's still amazing to me is some of the amazing stupidity displayed in some of these arguments. Arguing on behalf of a woman, for any reason, is simping. Absolutely spectacular reasoning.

I understand the decision but I don't agree. Having poster diversity is a great thing and I welcome the thoughts, opinions and overall presence of the female of the species. However, this sets a bad precedent and starts us down the old slippery slope. How far are we going to go to appease this minority of posters? Everyone is entitled to a good posting experience, as long as it doesn't hamstring the experience of the majority.

And how does this not not hamstring the majority, when the majority have stated loud and clear, over and over, that they would like females to post more? When it would be clear and obvious to anyone that such a stunt would be detrimental?

But more importantly, TLR is again fukkin up. Why do 99% of the issues from this site stem from that one forum. Everywhere else, nikkas is

Let I said earlier once you put up your pic, or any identifying detail about your life, on here it WILL come up again. Thats why if you value your anonymity you have to be careful about what you what you post, becuase its all fair game after that. I do agree its kinda bytch-made to critique behind the wall.

You get both extremes...

If you argue on their behalf you're a simp.

If you say anything that can be perceived as being against them you get hit with the generic "You gay or something trying to run the women off" "you must be angry" etc etc.

Because its not a serious forum for real discussion. I know its meant to be a general discussion area but it used as an extension of JBO.

Any way, I have a question:

Why the focus on bring in female posters? I understand the desire from ownership, but you gotta let the forums be what they gonna be. Females will sign up IF they're interested in partaking in this fukkery. Dont worry, there will always be a contingent of females who want to get fame and attention from being on a majority male site. Or are just chill hip hop heads (ala KTD2) If you're interested in drawing in females... how far will you go? I'm serious. Will we add a hair/makeup board as well? I aint a site owner but I been on enough of these hiphop forums to know that only a certain type of female joins anyway. I wouldn't worry bout those numbers dropping off.

My current girl and my EX both post on message boards and put their pictures on them as well. You know what kind of boards they post on? Curly Nicky and Longhaircare... BOTH are female dominated and centered around hair. I've watched both of them put pictures unprovoked on these boards and even meet up with other girls in the area.

Meanwhile they see me post on the-coli (or sohh) before and hit me with the when it comes to registering. Why? Cuz they aint fukking with no boards where its not majority women anyway.

Iono brehs, shyt seems like as fruitless an effort as the Republican party chasing the black vote.
