I don't have a problem with stars teaming up. i like superteams.

But i don't like it a HOF level player hops from team to team every couple of years like a role player.

Guys today do it a little too much.
Previous generations of players tend to be high and mighty when it comes to this. However, Superteams absolutely would have been created in those days if they had the opportunity and flexibility as players of today.

If the '86 Rockets had the chance to acquire prime Dominique or Mark Aguirre to join the Twin Towers there would have been no qualms about it from either side
