Its hilarious.

MJ said it. So what? Most people from yesteryear would take the same opportunities provided to them that players have today if it presented itself. Not sure why folks buy into some mythical stoic veneer of the past.

MJ didnt have a ring yet. Of course he would feel that way.

No it's not. This was an actual TRADE RUMOR that triggered MJ saying what he said. When was there a trade rumor around Bron and Steph playing together?

I'm the old head in here and am used to old heads my age being hypocrites. Magic said he would've returned to Michigan State if the Bulls got the first pick of the draft instead of the Lakers because he wanted to play with Kareem.

"I wouldn't have played here," Johnson said on the eve of Game 2 of the 1991 NBA finals between his team and the team that could have been his. "The only reason I came out was to play with Kareem. "I'd have stayed in school,"

Old heads would do the very same shyt they criticize young niqqas of doing.

Isiah said the same thing about in 2010/11 when an interviewer asked if he would have liked to play with Bird back in the 80s

He basically said “a chance to have one of the best players come to your team and strengthen it, and weaken a conference rival. You think we’re going to say ‘no, don’t come here’??”

Bird wasn’t the same by 90’, but still very good. You expect players to not want to strengthen their team?

Bird was a year coming off missing a season due to back surgery and retired 2 years later. Lets not pretend this was 86 Bird. By 90 pippen was his equal and or better. Lets not incite our younger posters like this was a 25 year old bird or something
