Honestly, this is more on the community rather than Twitch themselves. The chicken bucket and Snickers emotes are for a promotion, so I doubt Twitch added it to be slick or anything.

Twitch still REALLY, REALLY needs to clamp down on the racist trolls on their website though. Big turn off when I see the racist comments in certain channels.
