If these Android manufacturers were smart they would offer limited run pure Android versions of their hardware on the play website like Samsung did a few years ago.

People work on their phone, not much more to it than that really. Walking around doesn't encompass what a normal day when you're on your phone all day long doing battery heavy activities.
