When you really think about it, contact sports are stupid. Most people won’t have much to show for the grind.

idk if you remember but the NFL actively stifled information on concussions and brain trauma for years. The NFL needs a steady stream of players going through the high school and college pathways for their own product so silencing that lets parents sleep easier letting their kids play football.
It's also very interesting that the NFL has taken a heavy interest in flag football, so much so that they had national flag football tournaments for kids on ABC two weekends ago.
