Mixtape Wiz ain't fallin off

because instead of perfecting his craft/style/brand, he was content copying what was hot at the moment...now for Jay he can flip your style and make it his own...but for Fab it just comes off as corny...thats why a nice chunk of Fab's music is throwaway because its all stuck in the time it came out and far from timeless except for the occassional joint like Breathe. after that i gave up on him..he's dropped aight shyt since then but it doesnt matter anymore. That really is one the biggest mysteries in hip hop to me: How someone as talented as Fabolous never got bigger...he never reallly dropped a classic, but he is one of the most talented in NY hip hop history...too bad because I had the highest hopes for him when he started popping up on Clue tapes as Fabolous Sport
You act like I'm pulling these names out of my ass. Artist fall off plain and simple and they have their own versions of failure based on their level of fame. Kanye's MBDTF went platinum, but Yeezus only went Gold. That's not a failure to you? And don't even try that "He didn't promote it" bullshyt. 2chainz debut went gold, but B.O.A.T.S. II only sold 172,000. That's not a flop to you? But but but he's on the radioDudes naming pretty much everyone on the radio in 2013 Ross, Kanye, 2 chainz, Drake......it would be easier to compile a list of who the coli "thinks aint on Larry Holmes status". That list would probably be 3 names long or about 4 or 5 cats that aint relevant off of the internet.
I never said Drake and anybody saying he is is wrong. And since when did having a song on the radio equate to having a successful year? So technically Trinidad James isn't flabby and sick because he had one song on the radio?
