Thibs or Blatt. Atkinson, Udoka or Walton if Phil is wanting to start something new.
If, like last time, all of Phil's first tier choices say no, I wouldn't blame them for hiring Mark Jackson. The discussion (argument) over the Warriors isn't really whether he was a terrible coach ( he was terrible at some things, good at others) but whether he was good enough to get them over the hump. The Warriors gambled on Kerr and it paid off.
Mark Jackson is probably in the upper middle tier of coaches overall, however. He's terrible at making adjustments, calling plays, and his insistence on iso-ball is laughably outdated, but he does get players to commit to defense and the warriors entire attitude changed when he became coach.... mainly, instead of letting adversity in a game snowball out of control, they learned to work through it. He might be a good choice for a pure shyt team trying to become mediocre :jjjjj:
