As a person who visit New York heavy these past 4 years. No matter how gentrified some parts of NYC has become, I still keep my head on a on a swivel when im in certain spots.

When I go up to visit my sis and i go out , i gotta take that walk sometimes at 2/3/4 in morning from the 2/3 subway stop on 110th to 113th and Lex.

My head is constantly turning from side to side.

Nothing like getting off the subway in area you never been before, and the first thing you see when you get out the subway station is NYCHA sign

If you look at the areas of Brooklyn that really got hit with gentrification(Fort Greene, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Bedstuy, Greenpoint). Outside of Bedstuy, Ricans lowkey got hit hard by it. Those areas in Western Brooklyn were there main parts.
