So, this Master Chief Collection

Didn't want to start a new thread. But all the previous one's appear to be about it's buggy launch. And the "Official" Halo Thread is more so about the series than THIS particular game.

I've been following the updates and it has had several patches including one TODAY. Now I don't know how bad it was at launch, but I'm hearing and reading(thank's coli breh's keeping us informed) that it was worse than Battlefield 4. so yeah....that's fukking awful.

Anyways, I got a few questions about Multiplayer

I saw a screen vid of Halo: Evolved and it looked like shyt compared to the others, am I bugging?

Are all the games remasters? I'm not a graphics whore but I just plopped down a lot of money for the Xbox One and I wanna at least see a next gen showcase.

How does matchmaking work. Is it like Play Halo 3 and only get Halo 3 maps. Or does it get voted on from Game to Game Call Of Duty Style?

Is it up and performing well? I've seen people say it is and some are still having issues.

Is it worth purchasing?

My bad. I just checked the last few pages and no one was talking about this game. Just arguing about Battlefield or Halo being harder. Normally the last page reveals who is on and who is playing.

1. CE doesn't look like "shyt" but its the oldest game of the bunch and it shows. You can switch between the OG version and the remastered on the fly. Maybe what you saw was someone playing the OG version.

2. Halo 2 got the most love. Its totally remastered with new cutscenes and new remastered multiplayer levels. The rest are simple resolution and framerate improvements. Honestly next gen showcase this is not. Your gonna wanna check out Ryse or Forza for that.

3. Perfomance now is MUCH better than launch. I play solo and usually don't have any problems. From what I hear there's still problems for people who play in party's.

4. Yes it's worth purchasing for the campaigns alone IMO. It sucks you just missed the Halo 5 beta.

Don't buy it. Game is still broken until further notice. Cop it used if you must.

Is it like you select which one you wanna play and are then limited to playing those boards.

Or does the lobby dictate which halo game you will be playing? Making all the boards optional.

If you can't tell I'm all about that multiplayer action.

There's a bunch of different playlists. Some go by the separate games, others by game type. For example there's a Big Team Battle playlist. It includes all the games. You vote before each match which map you want to play on which dictates the game. There's also playlists dedicated toeach individual game.
