So Tyler Perry's last three movies were flops. Have people finally had enough?

He wrote and directed Temptation: FLOPPED
He produced Peeples: FLOPPED

He has his go to cashcow "Madea does something or other" coming out at the end of this year. I have a feeling that it might do numbers since it's billed as a family christmas movie.

But I think it's a good sign that his name alone isn't getting people out to the theaters anymore.

I actually thought about seeing peebles because as far as I know he didn't have shyt to do with it other than put money behind it...looks to be a decent enough, if shamelessly derivative, negro version of meet the parents...I'm fan of all three of the leads in kerry Washington, david allen grier and Craig Robinson... anybody see it?

I wouldn't call them c00n movies...just not very good movies.

He makes movies for his audience and they love it and eat it up. Oprah's cosign helps too (and she is FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR from a c00n).


However, Temptation wasn't even close to a flop.

Even with Peeples, his studio just produced it, it wasn't written/directed by him (which is why I'll probably go see it just off the strength of him giving another black director/writer some shine - one of his biggest criticisms with his studio)
