You can find out where a person lives if they take it on an Iphone and they have their geolocation activated. But nothing about the uploader per se.

I have a droid and I always have my gps off, but i dont post pics online since I dont have any social network sites, i be telling my gf to make sure her gps is off which she says she does because she has heard the reports
