So was Lavine holding back Wiggins/Towns... specifically Wiggins?

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
:jbhmm:Seems like ever since Lavine been out Wiggins has played better.

Beige nikka flexed in some dunk contests and has basically been shoe horned into starting lineups he don't need to be in.

He SHOULD'VE been traded when his stock was high. I made a thread about him a few months ago.

I'm not saying Lavine is trash but a lot of these GM's collect players and don't know how to use them.

Teams need to get off that "big 3" fukk shyt. Wiggins and Towns can be the future if they put the right pieces around them. All Lavine does is take away shots that should be going to them. They were both No. 1 overall picks for a reason.

Lavine is a sixth man and anyone that thinks otherwise doesn't know shyt.

Actually this whole forum doesn't know shyt as someone ought to up those threads eye cue was making during any bad Wiggins stretch where he was getting dapped.

Maybe up that thread where it was suggest he doesn't got it because he's Canadian. :lolbron:

LaVine is more than a 6th man.

He's got Hall of Famer potential.

The Wolves have a Harden/Durant/Westbrook situation here.

LaVine on another team is a future MVP candidate.

And they gonna fukk round and lose all 3 with nothing to show for it.

The Wolves obviously don't care about winning. I would've traded LaVine and a first round pick for a PG and some veteran pieces.

I was one of those dudes that said Trade Wiggins... but maybe Lavine should be getting his shine on another squad. All three are too talented for one to be regulated to 6 man status, but the Big Three Wave doesn't always work out and somebody can have the chance to be the man somewhere else. Maybe send him to MIA, BOS, or some Eastern Conference squad in need of a dynamic scorer?

I think they should learn how to play together. Steph, Klay, and now KD are the prime example of how it should be done. Russ, KD, and Harden went to the Finals by playing together. Thibs gotta figure out a way how to get all his guys playing as a cohesive unit because he has a potential dynasty on his hands.

Too many cooks in the kitchen, the team should be centered around KAT & Wiggins, a SF that does dirty work and hits threes is all they need.
So you think the only thing the wolves need to be respectable is 3 point shooting from a garbageman?

Maybe Noel, convington and seconds for lavine or make a three team trade.

The growth of Dunn, Wiggins and KAT should be their core since Dunn looks like he will be a all-nba defender.

I'd keep LaVine, but I'd want him in the Manu/Jamal Crawford role, I'd move Dieng for a more defensive C.

No. The Wolves need a rim protector. The reason they suck right now is because they can't play defense. And the reason they can't play defense is because Karl-Anthony Towns is not a center that protects the rim. They need a real center in the middle that can block shots that they can funnel people to. Someone like Clint Capela would make them a playoff team. In addition they need another perimeter defender to pair with Wiggins. A 3nD SF like Demarre Carroll would be ideal. That would allow Wiggins to move to the 2 which is his natural position.

If I'm the Wolves, I try to trade for Nerlens Noel and Robert Covington from the Sixers. I'd offer Philly either Kris Dunn or my 2017 1st round pick for Noel and Covington.

PG - Zach LaVine
SG - Andrew Wiggins
SF - Robert Covington
PF - Karl-Anthony Towns
C - Nerlens Noel

This team makes the playoffs in 2018. Its a young athletic team with 3 dominant scorers, a nice 3nD SF, and a rim protecting center. Add a few vets to bring off the bench and this team is a championship contender by 2020.
