No. The Wolves need a rim protector. The reason they suck right now is because they can't play defense. And the reason they can't play defense is because Karl-Anthony Towns is not a center that protects the rim. They need a real center in the middle that can block shots that they can funnel people to. Someone like Clint Capela would make them a playoff team. In addition they need another perimeter defender to pair with Wiggins. A 3nD SF like Demarre Carroll would be ideal. That would allow Wiggins to move to the 2 which is his natural position.
If I'm the Wolves, I try to trade for Nerlens Noel and Robert Covington from the Sixers. I'd offer Philly either Kris Dunn or my 2017 1st round pick for Noel and Covington.
PG - Zach LaVine
SG - Andrew Wiggins
SF - Robert Covington
PF - Karl-Anthony Towns
C - Nerlens Noel
This team makes the playoffs in 2018. Its a young athletic team with 3 dominant scorers, a nice 3nD SF, and a rim protecting center. Add a few vets to bring off the bench and this team is a championship contender by 2020.
