gotta cosign the gas prices..people underestimate the effect of that on approval ratings
I wish he tried to be more of a black president, other than that 5 stars. Man 2008 was ugly, prices were crazy all over the place, real estate market crashed, commodities crashed, hell Citibank was trading for a dollar. Half the car industry was planning to file for bankruptcy. It was a deep dark hole that we climbed out of thanks to Obama

He wasn't terrible, but he's incredibly weak in most areas.
I will say he is one of the most gifted orators though, his speeches coupled with his personality just may be up with the likes of someone such as Woodrow Wilson

he's in the top 90% but i only think america has had 2 or 3 even good-great presidents. he's somewhere between decent and good, but nowhere near what i expected he'd be.

I think the better question is how will he be viewed in 20 years?
Bill Clinton was looked back at fondly but that had changed in the last few years. Will the drone killings and the mass surveillance by NSA be his Crime Bill?
Or are we looking deeper into Bill's policies now only because of Hillary and if Obama's never jump back into spotlight they won't be under as much scrutiny?
