I used to surf hella different websites years ago. Shopping sites are also popping tho
Facts. I remember back in high school I'd be visiting nahright, 2dopeboyz, allhiphop, boxden, and a couple other sites on the regular. Now ...
Think a lot of it has to do with the real time updates you get from social media versus waiting for websites to be updated by admins
This is a website.
YouTube is a website.
Facebook, Twitter, it goes on and on but there's a few websites.
And a couple of them are also the biggest companies on Google Earth.
I would go as far as to say that basically whatever you do
Online
Is basically via a
Website.
Perhaps the little link on your phone or the fact you don't have to type 'www' makes you forget that it's the internet.
But it is.

then you list social media, apps, youtube, and news which are 99% of websites.
Aggregates are the wave. All the data in one place.

This is true but not all social media is an advancement of the internets use. I get a lot more content from this website still than I would from social media and in a multi-lateral format. There definitely still more room for content and utilization of the internet from a website as opposed to social media only. All the different apps are redundant and overlap as well. The websites wont be really dead until something thats more functional comes along that's relatively as simple functional and variable. Websites are dead though as being where socialized Internet interaction is centred around. Now it's like a resource hub. What are people doing on the internet? Are yall checking websites daily? It seems like people only use:
Am I wrong? What else is there to do?
- social media
- News
- YouTube
- Apps
