Taking to Twitter to break the news, Tity Boi revealed that his LP crossed the 500,000 copies threshold, thanking everyone who made the feat possible.

"I wanna thank God ,my fam, my team, fans, djs, taste makers, bloggers & u for your support! WE GOLD now bebe,BASEDONATRUSTORY(BOATS)," he wrote.

B.O.A.T.S. was released on August 14, 2012, debuting at No. 1 with 147,000 copies sold.
