I only did about 4 between 2010 and 2011 and I was assisting the cytologist and the pathologist each time...
a few things i wont forget were that
- We suited up like crazy before we began a body
- We had to weigh every organ we took out of the body
- I had to cut the men's testicles from inside out by scooping and snipping the connected tissue
- I did do a woman, but I came in late so I missed taking out the womb, fallopian tube etc.
- (Rick Ross -B.M.F) was playing on the radio when cut into my body's skull with a small saw
- I never did a kid tho, im not sure if I would've been ready for that
- We always had to make clean cuts and sew the body up properly so that the funeral home could embalm the body easily
Honestly it's not part of my profession...but it was something to learn and see before if we wanted to go down the pathologist route of education
