So we're halfway through the NBA season

What's the biggest surprise/disappointment for you so far, and predictions for the 2nd half of the season?

My biggest surprise: Atlanta. They may get to 60 wins, first seed and will at least be in the 2nd round with a legitimate chance to go a round or 2 further still.. I'm not sure anyone outside of Hawks fans saw that coming.

Biggest disappointment: Probably Cleveland. Haven't even followed them much this year but obviously i figured they'd be what toronto more or less is, i.e. a good record but with major concerns about if it'll carry over to the playoffs with the defensive flaws.


Predictions for 2nd half:

Atlanta’s got the coach of the year

Chicago’s got the most improved player

Golden State got the league MVP

Rose remains healthy and is 'MVP' form by season's end.

My biggest surprise is how the bulls defense has fallen off.If they had the defense from the last 4 seasons on this years squad they'd be wrecking shop through the whole league.Now I don't even know if they can beat lottery teams at home

Hell these boys are on a 12 game win streak and shyt looks weak in the arena right now.

Don't get me wrong, us die hard NBA fans love watching them play this team ball but that only is marketable if u have some type of stars on ur team ala SA (and they even struggle with marketability).
